Well, it had to happen didn’t it. Yes, I’ve gone and made an AI tool because, well, thats what everyone seems to be doing at the moment.
Mine is an AI voice to text app which is designed to create content from your voice notes. Basically, instead of rambling into your Whatsapp about an idea for a video or social post, you can ramble into Zinggit and get something that is (mostly) ready to go.
Why make an AI tool?
I’ve spent a lot of time recently trying to make a voice over for a video I’m about to make, and getting the flow and style seemed to be hard for me in text format. So, I was experimenting with voice notes and, hey.. This is a good idea. Why don’t I make this into a thing?
Hired a guy, got thing made.
Turns out thing works pretty well and now I use it at work for stuff all the time. It’s especially good for drafting a social post when you’re not quite sure where you’re going with it, or popping out a press release from some vague details that you don’t necessarily want to type. I also think it would be great for collecting thoughts on a recent event for things like reviews, record taking or even summarising thoughts in a blog.
How does it work?
Its designed to be mobile first – so you talk into your device, the app transcribes your voice note and then turns that into whatever you select; a blog, Linkedin post, video script, clean transcript or presentation.
There is a whole bunch of AI prompts under the hood which make it work. These basically apply to your voice note and make it content ready within a minute or so…
Can’t you just use Chat GPT?
Honestly, yes, but it’s a bunch of extra steps. The whole point of Zinggit is that its a full UX flow that just makes it easy to get from idea to content with less faffing around. Yes, people could set up n8n workflows or whatever, butt those aren’t my target audience. I’m looking for people (like me) who don’t have time to mess about with setting up AI-agents and who are happy to find a tool that just does what they’re looking for.
Basically, taking messy thoughts, half baked ideas or rambling voice notes and turn them into something that could be content ready with a bit of spit and polish.
